Intricate Flowers

Today I did a 5 minute challenge....All the photos I took were within a 5 minute walk from my house.  Take a look ~ some of the flowers here, in Phoenix are so intricate and so different from flowers and things we see back home.

An Unusual Sight

SNOW on the SUPERSTITIONS!!!   This is what the superstition mountains received last night!!  Not unheard of but very rare.  Unfortunately I missed when the sun was just kissing the top of the snowy mountains, I will try again at sunset - if there is any snow left!

Our Arizona Fruit

We arrived in Arizona last night, it was a 67 degrees (20 degrees lower then normal) but still way warmer then the -18 and snow we came from.  There is green grass, colourful fruit, and of course the cacti, is so refreshing to my eye!   We woke up to a fresh crisp rainfall, and then alas the sun came out, so out I ran to catch the raindrops glistening with sun on the rich ripe oranges and luscious lemons.   The oranges are wonderfully sweet, and we have 5 lemons that are plump and waiting for my afternoon iced tea ;)
