City Park

The girls had a full day planned out from the night before!  Jan was taking Elizabeth and Taeya to the mall as the gift certificates and money were burning holes in their pockets.  Megan and Paige and I planned a photo shoot complete with wardrobe changes!!  We all met up at City Park to take a few cousin shots before heading to our destinations.   This one is my fav!  I love it in black and white, so dramatic, something you would see Carrie Bradshaw in ;-))

Aunties!

The girls were teaching the boys all about fishing...it didn't last long - there was a ton of distractions!!!

Tough Guys!

Kash and Ty came over yesterday, dressed so cute with their hair all spiked up!!  We went fishing down to the pond, where there is an old foundation left over from the 2003 Kelowna Fires.  It has since been turned into a graffiti zone...I love all the colours and worked well with the tough guy faces I was getting!

The Circle of Love

Last night Jan hosted Elizabeth's 11th birthday party.  We all had a great time, visiting, introducing puppies and enjoying lots of tasty treats.  I wanted to get a couple shots of all of the generations together.
This shot isn't my original idea, as you may remember my girlfriend Goldspun Photography took pictures back in June of my niece, my mom and I which I titled 3 Generations of Love.  I wanted all the grandkids with grandma and then we added in link generation.

All my favourites

The ongoing joke is that I love everything old....hence, the 1950's wedding and more...

I love this gift from Lisa and Jeremy.  This is an old Apple box that she found...and gave to me!!!!! from the Orchard Park Mall opening, filled with 10 bottles of beautiful Okangan Wines.

Our morning find

This morning Bentley and I went for a very early morning walk, so that we wouldn't wake up anyone else in the house.  The sun was just coming up and the deer were grazing, I wish I had a zoom lens!

My pink hydrangea!

I wanted all the flowers in the yard to be white, and purple.  The whites were beautiful fluffs of hydrangea and the purples were sweet lavender, heather and deep iris' in the pond.  However, after the first year my beautiful white hydrangea came back as a soft pink, and although simply gorgeous it may be payback for the famous 'hydrangea heist'....to which I will have to keep all of you who don't know the story guessing....as to not incriminate myself ;-!!

Here is the beautiful bloom I picked yesterday.

Megan's Picks

The girls picked fresh fruit for breakfast, I loved Megan's super cute PJ's as the backdrop!!

Sleepover Pillows!!

The girls all sewed, decorated and stuffed their own pillows.  We used puffy fabric paint which looks white until it is in the sun and then turns all different colours.  We then used feather boa's to the edges to give them a flirty flare!!

Cousin Fun!

The girls had a lot of fun jumping in together holding hands and yelling 'COUSINS' at the top of their lungs!!

Bentley's new toy!

I wanted to post these yesterday, but didn't get around to it, so Bentley will be featured twice today;-))

Bentley received a gift from his Aunty Jan ;-)  a fuzzy squeaky giraffe!   However, shortly after he received it he passed out...HARD...and the girls posed him with his new toy!
So Ted grabbed the camera, with so much love in his eyes to capture this shot, originally thinking, Bentley had fell asleep hugging his giraffe after playing!!  LOL, Oh Bentley!

The phantom bike....

I walked into the office the other morning to plan our day...and I loved the way the model bike (collecting dust) on Ted's desk shadowed in his computer!  To cool!!
