Mazatlan Day 2
We awoke to a beautiful warm glow to enjoy our morning coffees to. After of course, overeating, at the delicious buffet we headed to the beach in search for shells. Which to our surprise was very plentiful!, more then we could possibly carry in our hands, so we headed back up to look for something to carry all of our shells in when we ran into Kaitlyn and Nick, two kids that the girls went to daycare with.
Right away Kaitlyn joined us on our beach comb....where all three girls made off like bandits. They have the best jewellery making shells, because many of them have holes in them already.
We got the girls bracelets with their names in them...which is so cool and quick to watch down here, the vendors are all amazing at their trades.
The girls combined all their shells together and then picked one for one....I unfortunately had already taken the camera back up at this point...so I cannot show you how many shells they split.
After, we just toured the beach and resort, before heading to the nightly show which was Caribbean Night, composed of amazing dancing, complete with lifts, turns head dresses and the most amazingly quick wardrobe changes!
Here are a few pics of our successful shell hunt!

I totally overexposed....but love the mistake! |
