So I realize I am way way way behind on my posting.  I have a lot of really cute shots from a charity event I would love to get posted...however with three weddings on the go, that is where my focus is.  Taeya, Paige and I went on a photo walk this weekend just up the road.  Here are a few of the shots I got.  Please Enjoy, and I hope to get back to a regular posting soon ;-)

Introducing Ella Rose

This is my favourite of the day so I wanted it to be posted on its own...What a beautiful, little girl!!!

Ella Rose

When my girlfriend became pregnant she KNEW it was a boy...I had my doubts and secretly wished for a little girl.  Her son Ty is 20 months...so how perfect would it be to complete and even out their family with a beautiful little girl.  In all my hope I bought the cutest pink rocker...My thoughts were if Jes had a boy I could make all the photos black and white...But alas...I was right!  And on Thursday March 24th at 7:02PM Ella Rose was born weighing in at 7lbs 9oz!!!

Ella is absolutely stunning, here are a few of her photo debut....

Ella,  Aunty will be constantly getting you and your beautiful brothers faces, actions, growth, love and laughter through my lens!!!!

Intricate Flowers

Today I did a 5 minute challenge....All the photos I took were within a 5 minute walk from my house.  Take a look ~ some of the flowers here, in Phoenix are so intricate and so different from flowers and things we see back home.

Thanks

An Unusual Sight

SNOW on the SUPERSTITIONS!!!   This is what the superstition mountains received last night!!  Not unheard of but very rare.  Unfortunately I missed when the sun was just kissing the top of the snowy mountains, I will try again at sunset - if there is any snow left!

Our Arizona Fruit

We arrived in Arizona last night, it was a 67 degrees (20 degrees lower then normal) but still way warmer then the -18 and snow we came from.  There is green grass, colourful fruit, and of course the cacti, is so refreshing to my eye!   We woke up to a fresh crisp rainfall, and then alas the sun came out, so out I ran to catch the raindrops glistening with sun on the rich ripe oranges and luscious lemons.   The oranges are wonderfully sweet, and we have 5 lemons that are plump and waiting for my afternoon iced tea ;)
Take a look and smell the oranges!

My Beautiful Blue Baby...

Ted has amazing eyes, fortunately for all of us, the girls are a spitting image of him!!!  Beautiful blue eyes, that I can't resist!

This shoot was so cold ~ -20 so we only had 5 minutes, the sun was setting ~ which is what I was after...however, we caught it a little to late to get Taeya's eyes to really Pop!!!   Please stay tuned...that is why the toque was purchased.....I will get the photo I'm after sooner then later ;-)

The Snaggle!!

ODE to the SNAGGLE,

You have been a big part of two years,
I had offers to pull you out by my ears

You were loose when we were in Maui,
but we all waited for "holy Cowi!"

It didn't matter what I did when I  bit into an apple
you always made me feel quite mellow

but alas it was your time,
and I did get more then just a dime.

you hung on with all your power
and now you will be a part of an amazing tower.

Heather and daddy are sold
because I was so incredibly BOLD!!

Please except this very special piece of our history  and do not keep my tooth a mystery!!!

- Taeya I am so proud of you!!!!  FINALLY after more then two years THE SNAGGLE (Aunty JOY's nickname)  has been released!!!

Dad's and My favourite saying is..."EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON"!!  so your tooth needed to hang in? ~ it may not make sense now...but please remember EVERYTHING ALWAYS HAPPENS FOR A REASON!!

I love you~ My beautiful Amazing Step-daughter!!!  You are special beyond belief!!!

A tiny bird...

I had my eye on this guy for a full two minutes....by the time I finally got him in my sites/lens...he hopped away!!!!  But to cute not to post?!?

My 1st Moon Attempt

It is an intimidating shoot for sure...THE MOON..what did I have to work with?  -17 degrees!   No light! - obvious,  PATIENCE...which...Hello is not my specialty!!!
