Mazatlan Day 3

Mazatlan Day 3
After once again sipping espresso and hot chocolate to the beautiful glow at sunrise we headed down for breakfast and off to ride horses along the beach.  It was absolutely amazing, dipping in and out of the ocean waves.
We toured past men fishing, kids playing, vendors selling, couples in love.  We trotted past hotels being refurbished, palm trees being removed to replant shorter ones for better shade. We came across a young boy practicing back flips!!  Too cool!
We sauntered back in the water, watching divers, surfers, and parasailers.   Aahhhh!
Taeya got her hair braided...complete with extensions.
Then we pooled and watched the sunset, while the hotel set up for a beautiful oceanside wedding.   Finally we watched the best Michael Jackson reenactment ever... Vegas if you are looking for a new show it is here in Mazatlan at the Riu.
We fell asleep to the tune of the wedding band and the crashes of the powerful rhythmic waves.

I was on my horse while taking these photos...unfortunately you cannot be as impressed as we were by the height he got!

This is Susanna in the hat and Melinda pregnant.  Melinda was due 8 days ago!!!   And is still on the beach working!

Look at that Teenager!!   The braids not only added length but also added about 5 years to her age? ;-))

Playing with reflections!

It was Mexican Night at the Riu, the hotel allows vendors to set up in the walkways for easy shopping!

A couple enjoyed a cervasa on the lifeguard towers steps.

Taeya in the Sunset

Both girls sharing that last minutes in the sun together!
