THE Grand Canyon!!!!!

The Grand Canyon, one of the 7 wonders of the world, sought by many, witnessed by few....and one of the most difficult scenes to capture in a lens!!   A photograph truly cannot capture the amazement of it!!!

Just playing around with some boulders!!  and shadows!  This is Ted, holding up a rock in the Grand Canyon!

Pool Fun

So to beat the extreme heat in Phoenix, AZ, we are having a lot of pool fun!!!   We got really cool water shooters from Walmart, that we have been having battles with!!!

Ice Cream!

Ice Cream doesn't last long in 112' F  So I had to go quickly working to get a couple shots of the girls....The camera doesn't like the heat much either.

This is at the outdoor Mesa, AZ Flee Market....a great place for a lot of cheap stuff!!!

Wild Flowers

With all this beautiful Arizona scenery this is what I take photos of!  Taeya's pick for table flowers!!   They are crazy!

Pathetic Poppy

My mom had requested that I take photos of a poppy...for one of her friends.  Which is why I went on the search to Elysium, where I found none!   On the drive home I spotted this pathetic little poppy holding on to its overdue demise...in an un-photographable spot...so I picked it to photograph at home.  However, on the way home, the car was hot, it got flattened by the camera bag, it then got squished into a water bottle...which stayed up right with a little bit of water in the bottom...until I went to bring it inside, and the bottle fell...  you get the just, of this poor poppy and the photos!  ;-)

Water drops

This was just from the sprinkler...that was on while this was taken...that is why there is drops 'flying' in the picture as well.

Make a Wish

Tried to get a picture of dropping my penny into the asian gardens wishing bowl...a little hard to do both so it is not the clear...but I still think it is a neat shot.

Hung to Dry!

While I was at Elysium, I stopped at there information barn...in the middle of the grounds a beautiful rustic tiny little building.  Where they also hang flowers to dry from the ceiling!  Too cute!

Ty and the Red Barn

I took a few pictures of Ty yesterday!   Love the ones in front of his red barn!  Ty has many faces that I managed to capture...so serious!!   I also changed two of them a little bit sepia...they just felt vintage to me!!
