The old water flues

These old water flues were used to bring water from Crawford Creek down to the surrounding orchards, in the 1920's, 1930's.  After the fires roared through Kelowna they started developing new areas, and these buried rusted treasures were exposed.  Now covered with moss, pine needles and cones, they excite the hill side the reside on.

  1. Seriously lovin' the rust. Reminds me of our day at 'the wrecks'.
